Charles Leclerc is the only man on whose shoulders the hopes and dreams of the Tifosi are resting right now. With a car that is definitely lacking pace as compared to Red Bull, Leclerc drove the wheels off of the SF-23 this evening. Giving it everything on his last Q3 lap, Leclerc eked out the last bit of lap time his car had to offer to finish a solid P2 in Jeddah. What’s more? He was only 0.155 seconds off pole man Sergio Perez. This blistering qualifying performance had fans hailing him as one of the best drivers on the grid today.
