“This Movie Gonna Flop So Hard”: Brad Pitt’s Mega $140,000,000 Collab With Lewis Hamilton Faces Immense Backlash After the Star Playing the F1 Legend Gets Revealed

Lewis Hamilton caught all his fans by surprise when he revealed his plans to produce a movie based on F1. Later, he dropped another shocker when he announced that Brad Pitt would be starring in the movie. The only downside to the whole thing was that Lewis wasn’t going to act in the movie and would strictly restrict himself to the role of co-producer. Turns out, the movie is about his own life and journey in F1, and the Briton has finally landed the actor who will play him.

Earlier last month, Hamilton gave an update on the progress of his $140 million Hollywood project. The 7x champion revealed that they were searching for an actor to co-star with Brad Pitt. However, they hit a major roadblock concerning the script of the movie. The latest developments show that they have finally zeroed in on the co-star aspect. The script hurdle perhaps still remains.

Fans trash the plot as a new star joins the crew of the Lewis Hamilton movie

Hamilton’s obsession with action movies is not a new thing. Having been a big fan of the Top Gun franchise since childhood, he begged Tom Cruise for a role when he came to know that he was making Maverick. Tom did offer him a role, that of a fighter pilot alongside him. However, owing to the busy ongoing F1 schedule, the Briton could not commit. Missing out on the role is one of the biggest regrets he has to this date. Making a movie of his own is perhaps a way to compensate for that.

Deadline recently revealed that Lewis’ unnamed movie’s producers have landed Snowfall-famed actor Damson Idris to star alongside Brad Pitt. Deadline’s senior film reporter Justin Kroll, through a Tweet, also disclosed that Idris will play Hamilton in the movie. Kroll also revealed that Idris also had to give an audition for his driving skills, which are obviously going to be crucial, given the role.

However, as rumors started floating about Brad, playing the role of Lewis’ teammate who was making a comeback in F1, fans quickly went into guesswork mode. Also, the plot felt unappealing to a few who compared it to the underwhelming project Sylvester Stallone delivered in 2001.
