The Abu Dhabi GP was one of the best races of the season. From high-speed chases to tactical overtakes, the race had everything. Max Verstappen won a pretty straightforward race, followed by Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez. Moreover, it was also an emotional affair in Abu Dhabi, as it was Sebastian Vettel’s last race.

Moreover, it was Daniel Ricciardo, Mick Schumacher, and Nicholas Latifi’s last race for the foreseeable future as well. The trio is without a seat for next year.

The battle for P2 went down to the wire as Sergio Perez pushed Charles Leclerc till the final lap of the race. The Monegasque won the battle and secured a well-deserved P2 in the WDC.

Additionally, Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel were also involved in a fascinating last-lap drama. The McLaren driver held off the retiring legend, which benefitted Alfa Romeo massively. However, his interaction post-race with his former teammate, Max Verstappen, melted the hearts of the fans on social media.

Ricciardo and Verstappen embraced a hug while the latter was performing media duties. The pair were once teammates at Red Bull. But later, Ricciardo decided to ditch the Milton-Keynes outfit for Renault (now Alpine).
