The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix marks the last race of the season. And with its successful end, the F1 world is going through major transformations before the next season begins. One such change is that Nyck de Vries, the third driver in Mercedes, finally moves on in a different direction.

Nyck de Vries secured an official F1 seat with AlphaTauri and will begin his journey as an F1 racer in the year 2023. Mercedes had a rather special way of wishing the man farewell. And the fans are amused!

The Mercedes mechanics tied up the young driver to a trolley to eventually wheel him to the AlphaTauri team. The lads look like they’re having a blast whilst Nyck stayed put, calm, and composed with a drink in his hand.

Amidst all the losses and sad farewells, this one brightened up the days of most fans. Seeing this hilarious and heartwarming gesture, the fans melted at the way Mercedes functions and takes care of its people.

As Nyck was being ‘delivered’ to his new team, Twitter took it on themselves to involve themselves in the running joke as they continued to add on their own wits.

Some suggested picking up Mick Schumacher along the way, while others admired Mercedes for the fun team spirit they project.
