I enjoy it a lot more than I thought: Charles Leclerc

As reported by Autosport, Leclerc began streaming in the lockdown last year with fellow F1 drivers Norris, Russell, and Albon. He mentioned that by streaming on Twitch, people will see the real him and how he is in his time away from the track in F1.

“Streaming on Twitch, this was something I definitely did not expect to enjoy, and I never saw myself doing that. But actually, I really enjoyed it and I think it is the closest for people that follow me that you can get of the real me,” said Charles.

Leclerc stated how the streaming on Twitch is different from racing in Formula One. “At the F1 track, obviously it’s different. There’s a pressure and things like this, so to be yourself is a bit different.

“Now on Twitch, obviously, playing with the other drivers and, being friends as well, we all know each other for quite a long time with Lando [Norris], George [Russell], Alex [Albon]. We can be ourselves, and I enjoy it a lot more than I thought,” said Charles.

The 2022 season is just months away and major changes to the power dynamics on the grid are expected. Fans hope that Leclerc can get to winning ways in both the streaming world and the real world.
