Ferrari is the oldest F1 team on the grid with a significant history. One would expect a team with such experience in racing and F1 to be leading the field. However, that hasn’t been the case for quite some time now. As Frederic Vasseur attempts to revive the Ferrari stall, Charles Leclerc and Co’s rollercoaster trajectory is highlighted and deemed to be confusing. What is this trajectory and what is Vasseur’s expectations?

The Italian Manufacturer is the most successful C1 team with the most wins [242] and the most championships [16]. Despite that, Ferrari still makes these naïve errors week in and week out. Ferrari were expected to make a comeback this year after last year’s blunder where Leclerc who was leading the championship halfway through the season lost out to Max Verstappen and Red Bull.

In the latest episode of the F1 Nation podcast, Charles Leclerc and Co’s rollercoaster trajectory was talked about amid the poor recent form. According to the podcast, Juan Fossaroli said, “They turn around and this year started similar to last year and then they had to change a little bit of concept late and they have to understand those changes and they’re still lost. Some races you see them very fast and then the other races, ooh. That’s it man.”

Tom Clarkson and Juan Fossaroli post discussing Charles Leclerc and Co. being lost, talk about how Frederic Vasseur hasn’t been able to revive the team as the Ferrari Boss continues to suggest and hope for a better race weekend for the coming races. Tom Clarkson on the podcast added, “We’ve heard from Fred Vasseur, let’s hope they can turn things around and get a good race in at Spa next weekend before the summer break and Of Course before we go to Monza when the Tifosi are going to be there and the expectations will be even higher.”

After a frustrating qualifying where Ferrari was beaten by Alfa Romeo for pace, Charles Leclerc had a frustrating main race in Budapest. The Monegasque started P6 and finished the race in P7 courtesy of a slow pitstop and a 5-sec penalty for speeding in the pitlane. The slow pace toward the second half of the race added to the misery as the Scuderia’s competitors started to build a gap.

According to racefans.net, Charles Leclerc said, “The pit stop was quite slow and we had a five seconds penalty for speeding in the pit lane. So it’s again a weekend that is difficult. Honestly, it’s frustrating overall because I felt that with the pace we have today, even as a driver, when you are feeling like you are doing a good job with a car you have, nobody really notices it. And whenever you are doing a bad job, everybody notices it.”
