Sir Lewis Hamilton is a man of many talents. As you might already know, he featured in the 2018 Christina Aguilera song called Pipe under the pseudonym XNDA. Since then, he has teased the fans with his plans to release an album that hasn’t been released yet. Apparently, rap legend Kanye West has listened to his unreleased songs and is mighty impressed with the Briton’s music.

After the release of the Christina Aguilera song, Lewis Hamilton kept silent on his identity as XNDA. The fans, however, instantly recognized his voice. In 2020, Hamilton confirmed he was XNDA and kept it a secret all this while as he was insecure. He revealed his identity after the song was received well by the listeners.

Kanye West loved Lewis Hamilton’s music

Lewis Hamilton is friends with rappers like Kanye West and Jay Z. He revealed that in an interview with Graham Bensinger. Hamilton revealed he had such good relations with Kanye that he could literally pull up to his house any time he wants and hang out with him and his family.

During one such incident when he was having an Easter brunch with his family, Lewis played his music and caught everyone by surprise.

In a year-old video that has resurfaced, Kanye recalled the incident while speaking at the School Of Art Institute in Chicago.

There’s theories about people who are amazing at stuff actually are amazing at other things. So, Lewis Hamilton’s over at my house, right? And he starts playing music.” 

“We’re playing some music in my studio. We’re having like an Easter brunch and all the family is there. And he’s playing music, and everybody’s like, what is this music? And I’m like, it’s Lewis Hamilton’s music. They’re like, oh my god.”

He continued, It was good. It’s really really good.”

However, Kanye is not the only one for whom Lewis has played his music.

Lewis Hamilton played his music for Pharrell and Kanye

In a six-year-old fun interview with James Corden, Lewis revealed how nervous he was when he played his unreleased tracks for Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. He also talked about getting positive feedback from whoever listened to his songs.

It was nerve-wracking for sure. These guys are the legends of the music.” Hamilton continued, I was sweating. I was nervous.”

Talking about the kind of music he made and the feedback he got, he said, “It’s like R&B, it’s kind of I’d say a mixture of the Weeknd and bit of Drake-ish kind of stuff. The people coming over, they were nodding their heads so I was getting positive feedback. So, we’ll see.”

It was six years ago when in the interview, Lewis said he would release the album in about a year. Fans have been waiting for XNDA to make a comeback for too long now. Here’s to hoping that the wait will end soon.
