The Netflix popular ‘Drive to Survive’ has released 4 seasons. The 5th one is due and is expected to go on air in March 2023. Time and again the film crew reaches the paddock to capture the best moments. Yesterday when Kevin Magnussen shocked the world with his maiden pole at the Brazilian qualifying, the ‘DTS’ team captured the emotions.
After Kevin Magnussen got the team’s first-ever pole, the American outfit went absolutely crazy.
As the session ended and Magnussen got out of his car and the whole team scrambled to hug the Dane. For the fans, this might be the most awaited episode of the Netflix series, but Guenther Steiner is fed up with the film crew.
He said, “They came after [Magnussen’s pole]. They always show up. They are like flies on, I think I’ve had enough with them this year.”
Adding further 57-year-old said, “Everybody is happy about things like this. We, as a team, give a lot to the sport. We fight hard for everything. It comes with setbacks, but it also comes with this. I don’t think there are many unhappy people around today because we’re on pole.”

Haas team principal Guenther Steiner doesn’t watch Drive to Survive
Steiner is known for his outbursts and no-nonsense attitude, which have got him some dedicated followers. But in the first half of the year, Haas team principal revealed that he has resisted any temptation to watch him or even listen to him on the radio.

“Why didn’t I watch it? I don’t want to change because it’s me. I also don’t listen to myself on radio interviews because it’s just something I don’t enjoy. It’s not like I’m afraid of it, I just don’t enjoy it,” Steiner told Crash.net.
He further added, “With Drive to Survive, the biggest thing is, if I watch it, you try to do different and [be] better, whatever better is. But then it is not me anymore. Then I have to put effort into doing that and then I cannot focus on my job.”

Half the job is done with Magnussen getting the pole in the Brazilian qualifying, but half the job is still left. Steiner will now want Magnussen to use the opportunity and stand on the top step of the podium.
