Lewis Hamilton is one of the richest athletes around the globe. So where do you think the Billion Dollar man would love to put in all his money? Is it trendy attire or traveling around the world? If you think so, you might be wrong. The seven-time world champion regards cars as a safe place to put his money.

The racing legend knows how to spend the splashing cash on the best cars that could earn him the title of an ultimate celebrity petrolhead. He is a car fanatic, his car collection sums up to an impressive $14.3 Million. The Mercedes star thinks nowadays banks are not the optimal place to put one’s money. According to the Brit, “Banks are doing nothing these days,” he scoffs. “So many sportsmen — sportswomen are generally a smarter species — have squandered their money. I’m very conscious of that.”

The Mercedes star stated he doesn’t have ample knowledge about various fields, but the cars are his zone where he excels. Hamilton is very serious when it comes to his cars, “I don’t know anything about wine. I don’t know a huge amount about art. But what I do know is cars, and I’m very particular about them.” said the Brit.

The value of the car Lewis Hamilton drives is unfathomable. He can easily sell any of his cars at an exorbitant price. But just like any other boy who has his heart attached to his toys, Hamilton can’t sell them off. He said, “I could sell them all for way more than I paid for them, but these are my babies, my art pieces, and I’ve worked hard for them.”
