While answering some of google’s most searched questions, Danial was asked if he likes Max Verstappen. Daniel, initially talking in the 3rd person, said“‘Daniel Ricciardo does like Max Verstappen’.”

He continued, “I would just draw it at likes. I wouldn’t say loves, uh there is no formal relationship or anything. But uh but yeah I have a good, uh let’s say friendly relationship with Mr. Max Verstappen.”

The Honey Badger is currently going through a torrid season, where nothing has gone according to his plan. His McLaren tenure as a whole has been dismal, to say the least.

In an interview, Horner said, “It’s obviously not been a great experience for him [at McLaren] for whatever reason but you just have to think back to some of the drives that he did for us, some of the wins he had, the podiums, some of the stunning overtakes he was capable of… that’s still in there I’m sure, he just needs a bit of a reset.”
