Times are tough for Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo lately. The man from Land Down Under hasn’t really shone for quite some time now. As he arrived in the United States for the Austin race, he might have hit a new low, qualifying P17.

Despite struggling with his F1 career, the Honey Badger has not lost hope. The news of Ricciardo not having an F1 seat is known to all by now. However, he still has hope and feels his life is good as he is surrounded by “good people.

In a recent interview, Ricciardo conveyed, “For sure it is a difficult situation… but there are a lot of other things that are going for me.”

“This is a professional obstacle, and I’m going through it, but otherwise life’s good. I’ve got good people around me.”

Ricciardo qualified in a disappointing P17 at Saturday’s qualification at the Circuit of The Americas. Despite having very high hopes for him, Ricciardo could not live up to the mark. But he is still looking forward to the Race at COTA.

Daniel Ricciardo, who’s going through tough times now, also shared that he has got good people around him. He’s not only a very likable personality on the paddock but also quite famous in the United States. And if that is not enough, he is friends with multiple athletes there.

Moreover, Ricciardo talked about his love life and conveyed that his love life gives him balanced. Talking about this, the 33-year-old stated in a podcast, “Yeah mate, I’m in love. I got a good thing going, so yeah. I’ve got a good balance in life right now.” The F1 star further shared that “love eliminates stress” for him.

With the United States Grand Prix already upon us, Ricciardo will have three more races in Mexico, Brazil, and Abu Dhabi after this. It’ll be interesting to see if these good people around him can bring something extraordinary out of the Honey Badger.
