It’s F1 launch season and the latest to join the scene is McLaren star Daniel Ricciardo. The Aussie driver took to social media on Thursday to unveil his 2022 Helmet. “The Honey Badger” will head into his second season with the team donning a peach-colored headgear. It’s a complete shift in the base color, and it looks surreal.

The all-new helmet has a phrase that is close to Ricciardo’s heart, “present momentum”. The 2021 season was a tough one for the Aussie. The multiple Grand Prix winner had a hard time adjusting to the MCL35M through most of the season. Apart from a race win in Monza, he found himself mostly stuck in the mid-field.

Ricciardo’s helmet will make a nice blend with the Papaya color-themed McLaren, though they are yet to reveal what the 2022 livery looks like. Expectedly, the fans went into a frenzy as he dropped the new unveiling clip.
