The 2022 F1 season was a great one for Red Bull when it comes to humongous success. From winning a massive 17 out of 22 races to picking up both driver’s and constructors’ championships, the Austrian team was indomitable. So much so that rivals team took notice of this and according to the F1 community, they have started to take inspiration for 2023 from Red Bull’s last year’s design. As per the latest developments, the fans are of the opinion that McLaren copied the structural design from last year’s RB-18.
A part of the F1 community put their thoughts online on the new MCL60. McLaren unveiled their new challenger to mark their 60th year in racing. However, fans alleged that the new car is a blatant copy of last season’s championship-winning machinery. They said that the Woking-based team copied the sidepod and used them on their 2023 challenger.

This has come to light after McLaren took to the tracks before the final testing begins at Bahrain International Circuit on February 23. Taking two pictures, the popular media outlet Autosport posted both RB-18 and MCL60 together and it showed a striking similarity between the two cars when it comes to side pods.
Fans react to the new McLaren MCL60 that seems inspired by Red Bull
As Autosport posted the photos, comparing the two single-seaters, fans were quick to share their reactions to it. They not only called McLaren the Orange Red Bull but also compared them to Aston Martin, for what the Silverstone-based outfit did last year.

Interestingly, the Silverstone-based team, Aston Martin, was also called out for the same in 2022. Aston Martin brought in a major overhaul in the AMR22 in Barcelona last year, to which Christian Horner called them “Green Red Bull.”
