Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel is bidding adieu to the F1 family. As he closes this chapter, a lot of us can’t help but get a bit emotional, including the champion himself, who holds the record for most wins in Singapore Grand Prix with 5 victories.
Earlier today, at the Singapore GP press conferences that are held prior to the main race, Vettel took to the mic to express his mind about his journey so far. As the audience watched on with awe, the veteran continued to talk about his “last time on the streets here.”

A very emotional Vettel spoke to audience earlier today as he said, “Getting emotional, so uh, Thankyou.”
The people in the audience just melted as the champ went on to say, “I think it’s incredible. I think it’s so nice to be back, I really love this race and I’m very much looking toward to it.”
“Thinking about the last time I’m going to be on the streets here, make me a little bit, a little bit sad.”
“But on the other hand, I’m so grateful for the support that I’ve got here the last couple of days since I’ve arrived. So, thank you and yeah, Let’s enjoy the weekend,” he concluded.
The crowd cheered on as he left the stage. However, Twitter is heartbroken.
Twitter cannot handle Sebastian Vettel’s Departure
Twitter is shedding tears at the thought of bidding adieu to the youngest champion in F1 next year. Unwilling to accept the fact that he won’t be on the grid soon, a lot of them questioned their own survival post Vettel’s retirement. Here’s how the fans grieved.
“ I’m so close to getting emotional..I love this race and looking forward to it. Thinking about it being the last time I’m being here on these streets makes me a little bit sad but on the other hand I’m grateful for all the support..”

As Sebastian moves on from F1, he has a little treat that he will be leaving behind. He recently dropped a teaser of an upcoming documentary on his life on his Instagram handle. And until we can get our hands on that, we are grabbing on to our seats hoping that the Singapore Lion takes the show away one last time. The weekend is almost here. Buckle up!
