Hey guys, sorry I’ve been a bit quiet this past week. I’ve taken the chance to spend some time with friends and family, as well as the team preparing for the last 2 races of the season, before flying to Las Vegas this evening.

The brit recently had come under a lot of fire for his antics at the Mexican and the US Grand Prix. At the US Grand Prix, he took Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz out at the very first lap of the race. Later, at the Mexican Grand Prix, he came onto the team radio and went on an angry rant about the strategy. These incidents haven’t left him a very popular man.

As it turns out, the apology wasn’t for either of those incidents. The apology was for, in fact, being away from social media itself! That being said, the fans were lapping up the opportunity to get one up on the Brit who had given them such a scare for such a non-contextual tweet.
