The 2022 Formula One season was arguably the most challenging in Lewis Hamilton‘s professional career. Ever since his 2007 debut, the seven-time champion has been a dominant figure in Formula One. But now, as the difficult year is over, the superstar Mercedes driver has shared some of his fondest memories, sending fans into a frenzy on Instagram.

The season was nothing short of a disaster for Mercedes. The team who had won the previous eight constructor’s championships has fallen to fourth place in the standings this year. The porpoising issue, which hindered the performance of both drivers this season, was the most worrying of the several problems that tortured German manufacturers.

Although George Russell delivered the team its sole win of the year at the Brazilian GP, the team’s top driver’s account had zero victories to his credit. Nevertheless, Hamilton has continued to be spotted having fun away from the F1 tracks.

With ‘The Photo Dump’ being one of the biggest trends of the year, Hamilton has also been following it with a lot of zeal. Even before the current photo dump, he shared a batch of images that featured a young F1 driver.

This photo dump, however, is unique as it included 9 separate images that show the star’s different emotional states. In the caption for his Instagram post, Hamilton wrote, “Cleaning out my camera roll before 2023~ There’s so much to celebrate from this year. It’s easy to focus on the negative, but we have to remember the good, and SO MUCH good happened. This is the year I finally traveled through Africa and saw so much beauty it was almost overwhelming. The year +44 came to life.”

“The year Roscoe turned 10 !! It’s so important to look toward the light and embrace being open and letting our guards down. Let’s be compassionate to ourselves, to others, to our world. Thank you to everyone for the love, energy, and passion in 2022. I’m proud of all of us and rooting for us all to succeed in 2023.”

Regardless of how difficult this year was for the great, the support of his admirers never wavered. Fans immediately flooded Instagram with affection after he posted the pictures.
