Lewis Hamilton is regarded as one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time. He has won seven world titles proving that he is the best. However, the number 44 driver is facing some pressure from Red Bull’s Max Verstappen this time around.

Hence, former F1 driver, Nick Heidfeld feels that Hamilton will unleash his best version of himself to defeat the Dutch driver. Verstappen winning two out of the six races this season, did put some stress on Hamilton.

However, the Mercedes driver isn’t the one who’s going to give in, but fight.

As quoted by FormulaPassion, Heidfeld said, “Hamilton is feeling the pressure of Verstappen and is managing to resist. That’s why we’re seeing what is arguably the best Hamilton ever.

“And it is normal that drivers, even if they are very good like Bottas, have problems to match certain performances.” (Translated from Italian via Google)

Hamilton didn’t win at Monaco or Azerbaijan. This will surely give the Mercedes driver the will to come back stronger and beat Verstappen as they battle it out on track in France in the coming weeks.

Can Hamilton find a way to win in France?

The 36-year-old endured another horrid weekend at Baku. He made a costly mistake at the restart that saw him fall from second to fifteenth on the grid. Hence, he didn’t bring home any points for the Brackley-based outfit.

Hamilton is looking to shake the loss off and focus on the seventh round of the championship. He will look to redeem himself and help Mercedes in their fight for winning this year’s title.
