If Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez is the Mexican minister of defense, then it’s high time that Fernando Alonso adds another title to his crown: Spanish minister of defense. The 41-year-old has an aggressive yet peculiar driving style, during which he has delivered several masterclasses on how to defend your position, where he has schooled the likes of Lewis Hamilton

Now, in another display of on-track awareness, despite spinning out of position following a clash with Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso has won the hearts of the fans and certainly former F1 champion, Damon Hill. The driver complimented the Spaniard with the highest compliment. As quoted by RacingNews365, he said, We were making a joke that he should be a lawyer. I’d get him to defend me in a murder charge! ‘It’s boring driving the car, he needs something else to do. He’s going around going, ‘Can I do the strategy as well? Give me more information.’ He already understands the rules.”

Hill refers to the incident upon the restart, where within 10 seconds of spinning his car, with an unreal level of awareness, Alonso assesses his car, informs his engineer, and reminds him of the decision made during the Silverstone GP 2022. The immediate citation of the race shows his presence of mind and confidence, which has fans drooling over the two-time world champion.
