Almost 20 years since Ford last raced in F1, the American brand has announced its historic return. It feels surreal to several fans as the Ford logo never got much exposure in F1. The company’s history has mostly been as an engine supplier and then as the Jaguar works team that was Ford’s subsidiary brand. Coincidently, the team that bought Jaguar F1 from Ford is the same team with which the American manufacturer join forces in 2026- Red Bull. Nonetheless, to mark its comeback, the company has released a “chilling” video film that strikes your emotional chord.
Ford News Europe posted a video on Twitter, showing the journey of the company in F1 and different categories of racing. It captures the emotional essence of Ford’s passion for racing through the years.

The video is full of vibes that are hard to put into words. Many fans have reacted and appreciated the American manufacturer to produce such a beautiful video for its F1 return. Returning to the sport after 20 years with a champion team like Red Bull is certainly a dream for them.
Many fans have taken to Twitter to react to Ford’s emotional video. Several fans are excited from now itself, despite 3 years to go for the 2026 season. Ford will also be gearing up with Red Bull to show the American engine’s power in F1 once again.
Fans React to Ford Putting out an Emotional Video for its F1 return
The partnership with Red Bull Racing also calls out its past relations with RBR. Apparently, it was Red Bull who bought the Jaguar F1 at the end of 2004. So there is another historical thread in this huge legacy for Ford in motorsport. Certainly, this video encapsulates that legacy beautifully, making fans emotional.

Unlike its previous ventures in F1, Ford’s logo will get a lot of exposure this around. The manufacturer will be having a strategic partnership with Red Bull’s Powertrains division for the 2026 power unit. Meanwhile, it will be Ford’s blue badge associated with Red Bull and not Cosworth engineering as it was in the 60s and 70s.

Even during its Jaguar F1 works teams, it was the Jaguar brand that got most of the attention. Of course, people know Ford is at the helm of affairs. Still, visibility helps businesses in general. So, along with Red Bull, the American brand does not want to miss out on the boom of F1 in the US.
Fans also previously have reacted about having a Ford vs Ferrari battle once again in F1. With Red Bull’s 2026 partnership possibly reigniting this historic rivalry, it could be fantastic to see two of the giant auto brands clash again.
