Daniel Ricciardo still has a season left at Renault before he joins McLaren. However, that hasn’t dampened his future teammate, Lando Norris‘ excitement to be racing alongside Ricciardo. Ricciardo has been in F1 for nearly a decade now. The Australian has 171 races under his belt and has 7 wins and 29 podium finishes to his name. Lando, who is only 20 years of age, is coming off an impressive rookie year with McLaren. The young Briton is looking forward to learning a thing or two from Ricciardo.

“Carlos has been very good but Daniel has just shown that a few more times compared to the drivers which have won multiple world championships. So I look forward to that partnership and working with him and pushing each other.”
Furthermore, Norris said, “It’s going to be cool to see what it’s like working with him, a guy who has won multiple races and has learned from guys who have won those multiple world championships. It’s going to be great for us as a team to have him on.”
“We’re fun characters doing and going to have a lot of fun. But we both know that we want to be really pushing the team forwards and winning races and making sure that the car’s fast. We have to be serious when it comes to doing that. I’m sure we’re going to get along well in terms of pushing the team and being hardworking.”
A couple of days ago, Ricciardo had also stated that he was looking forward to racing alongside Norris. Considering how fun-loving and similar the two of them are, they should get along well. However, lest we forget we still have one more season to enjoy the duo of Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris, so keep an eye on that.
