Recently, McLaren debuted a commemorative livery to honor its rare Triple Crown, which garnered mixed feelings from fans. However now continuing its celebration to complete 60 years in the summit of motorsports, the Papaya army has attempted to hype 1,359 billion worth sponsors. But the Twitter F1 fans didn’t look to receive it with open arms instead the admirers have trashed McLaren’s attempts.

McLaren has appeared to be having performance issues since the start of the season. It soon became clear why the team was out of shape as the team’s CEO Zak Brown had previously made it apparent that the side had missed some of the crucial developmental procedures. However, the papaya army was spotted in top shape at Lando Norris‘ favorite circuit and is now ready to debut its new livery. But wait, are we really talking about upgrades here?

No, it is not the upgrades we are talking rather it’s Google, the official major partner of the Papaya army, and McLaren Racing which recently unveiled a unique chrome livery that will compete on McLaren’s home track at the Silverstone for the British Grand Prix.

This livery pays homage to the classic McLaren that was used from 2006 to 2014, during which Lewis Hamilton won his first championship in 2008, ending a 10-year title drought. However, if the papaya color is what the fans are worried about, it will still be evident on the side pods, nose, and top roll with a little bit of work at the rear wing as well.

Nevertheless, the fans who earlier, during the triple crown livery launch criticized McLaren’s endeavor by calling the display a waste of money and subjecting it to intense scrutiny have yet again trashed the Woking-based efforts.

Utilized across the team’s operations, Google Chrome, whose parent company has a staggering $1,359,000,000,000 net worth, supports performance both on the track and in the McLaren Technology Centre.

While both of the McLaren boys will carry the new MCL60, Lando Norris will also donne a unique helmet and racing boots. Embracing the livery with open arms In his own words, Lando Norris remarked on Sky Sports, ” It’s the modern twist to it. A chrome car is what got me into supporting McLaren. In 2007, when I was seven-years-old, was when I really got into watching Formula 1.

On the other hand, while the team is delighted to welcome the new livery, Mclaren’s new design received little support from the fans. Some of them even requested that the Woking-based company should terminate the design team.
