Ferrari finally launched their 2023 car, and boy was it a spectacle! Unlike the other seven teams, the Prancing Horse did not just unveil the car in front of their fans, but also ran it on the track at Maranello, showing just what the SF-23 was capable of. After sporting a darker shade of red last year, they have returned to the scarlet red, and it surely is a head-turner. What left fans even more in awe was the vintage rear wing styling, flaunting the big Ferrari badging.

The launch season started off with the teams taking a conservative approach, revealing only the new liveries and not the actual car. Alfa Romeo broke that trend by launching their actual contender and revealing the changes they made from last year. Later, the likes of McLaren and Aston Martin followed that trend by revealing the actual car. However, Ferrari, being Ferrari, went a step further, giving the Tifosi a show they’d surely remember for a very long time.

Red is the color of love and the Italian giants could not have picked a better day to launch their car. Putting up stands for the Tifosi along the track and giving an update on the development of the car through their drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, and new team boss Frederic Vasseur, they built up the hype before the engine started to roar.

And then it was the turn for the car to actually roll out from the garage and leave the fans roaring even louder. Amidst the cheers came Leclerc, giving a glimpse of what was to come in 2023.

Now F1 fans on Twitter are demanding nothing but excellence from the red team.

That vintage Ferrari logo on the rear wing really is a thing of beauty and remained a big highlight of the whole look.

One fan complimented the designers’ effort but took a cheeky dig at last year’s incident in Austria when Sainz’s car caught fire.

Fans took many teams to task for overcrowding their liveries with a number of sponsors. Ferrari, however, kept a clean approach and that was well received by the Tifosi.

Even WTCC racer Tim Coronel felt the car was worthy of winning the championship in 2023.

Despite starting the season well last year, the Prancing Horse’s plans of winning the championship went down the drain owing to some faulty strategy. Some fans cautioned them against repeating past mistakes.
