Mick Schumacher has arguably performed well this year, especially when we take a look back at his debut season. However, the German has had trouble securing points, and this seems to be the biggest reason for the discontinuation of his contract with Haas.

Reflecting back at the US Grand Prix that took place in Austin, Gene almost blamed Mick for another point-less finish. He said, “When Mick and Magnussen came in, they both got the same tires. When Mick came out again, he was in a group of cars and stayed with them. Magnussen fell backwards to save his tires, while Mick used them up. Mick then inevitably had to come in ten laps later and change tires, which set him back. “

The Fans have not been taking this well. They’ve had a lot to share and they believe that this makes the team an F1 ‘joke.’
