Eight years already and five more to go. That is how much time Christian Horner has spent and will spend overseeing Max Verstappen doing the Red Bull colors if all goes according to plan. The British boss has been with Red Bull since the very begging. However, Christian Horner has not been a mentor to a younger driver during his time as Red Bull’s boss. In fact, the Red Bull boss has not maintained a long relationship with any other driver. This is exactly why the two share a different bond than most on the grid, and only a glimpse of it was enough to get the orange army teary-eyed.
Even though Horner might’ve joked about it, the entire Red Bull team is to be credited for the supremacy. This team spirit, when elongated for as long as Horner and Verstappen have, creates an unbreakable bond. So after an intense opening lap battle, Verstappen crossed the finish line in P1 yet again. To congratulate the Dutchman on a job well done, Horner got on the team radio to deliver a quick message. The message, however, caught the attention of the fans and is being shared on Twitter.
