Take a Look at the Massive 25-Feet Red Bull F1 Trophy Cabinet at Milton Keynes

Red Bull seems to have got back their winning momentum. The team that was unbeatable from 2010 to 2013 has merely been a shadow of themselves in the post Hybrid era. With Max claiming his maiden F1 Championship last year, the trophy cabinet seems to grow and be active again.

The Austrian team has been the only force to reckon with in those four years. From claiming the driver’s championship to Constructor’s Championship, the Energy drink-based team was way above everyone else at that point. Post Ferrari era, the Bulls had taken the sport by storm with the help of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.

Red Bull Racing keeps all their trophies in a single showcase at Milton Keynes, the base of the team. Unfortunately, some of the trophies were stolen back in 2014. Trophies valued at around £1 million were lost and about £400,000 were damaged caused by a gang who vandalized and stole the trophies.

In the picture, the 25 feet tall trophy cabinet can be seen with lots of trophies and awards the team amassed over the years. Red Bull was founded in 2005 and ever since they’ve had four Constructor’s Championships and five driver’s championships. Although the driver’s trophy is kept with the driver, a replica is kept with the team for show purposes.

The glorious history of Red Bull Racing

Red Bull Racing was founded in 2005 after taking over from Jaguar Racing. The initial years weren’t that successful for the team as Ferrari continued to dominate with Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen. Once the Austrian team signed German Sebastian Vettel and Australia Mark Webber, they couldn’t expect the success they were about to witness in the coming years.

After 2013, Red Bull was just a mere shadow of themselves as Mercedes immediately took over. The German team dominated the post Hybrid era with eight back-to-back constructor’s championships and seven driver’s championships till 2021. Red Bull meanwhile could do little to make their presence feel like a dominant force with Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo, Alex Albon, etc.

However, the last lap showdown at Abu Dhabi last year saw Red Bull’s Max Verstappen snatching the driver’s championship from Mercedes. The team won a total of 76 races along with 207 podiums as of Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2022. Red Bull lost the Constructor’s Championship to Mercedes just by 28 points. All in all, the new fight between Red Bull vs others is a treat to watch.
