It’s now been three days since Max Verstappen became the 2021 Formula 1 World Champion. However, seemingly, the celebrations haven’t stopped for him, nor his fans! With the infamous Super Max song as the anthem for the Orange Army, the Championship title has done wonders for the song.

Spotify has it’s specially curated and complied playlists- something they are renowned for. However, soon fans spotted Super Max by the Pitstop boys trending. Top 5 in the Viral Hits globally, the song also comes second in the Top Viral hits in the UK.

It looks like the Orange Army is having an extensive party for their champion! However, they aren’t alone in these celebrations. In post-race celebrations on the Red Bull yacht, Verstappen himself embraced his song!

Soaking in all the glory and champagne, the mood of the catchy songs fits perfectly for celebrating none other than Super Max.

Looking back at Max Verstappen and his glorious season

Three days late, and it has still been a momentous occasion in Formula 1. We now have a new, Red Bull, and Dutch driver as the champion of the world. And what an incredible season it has been.

Throughout the season, Verstappen’s charge against Mercedes had been absolutely stunning to watch; the driver was a worthy opponent to Lewis Hamilton. The 24-year-old gave us a season worth watching in 2021.

Yet, it all boiled down to the last race, with both the protagonists tied for points in Abu Dhabi. It was almost as if the races preceding them didn’t even matter. Verstappen lead 652 laps this season. At Abu Dhabi, he lead one; the final lap, the one that mattered.

Regardless of the controversies surrounding the race, it was a duly deserved title. As Verstappen’s first words out of the tub summarize: “It’s insane. It’s insane. I don’t know what to say.”

Nonetheless, it has been a season and a driver to celebrate. As the 2021 season comes to an end, it also closes the book on an era. Now, with the 2022 season awaiting us, can it get better than this?
