It’s a redemption day for Daniel Ricciardo in Mexico City. The Mexican Grand Prix race brought back the Honey Badger, who the fans waited to see for a long, long time. As the driver of the day managed to keep a gap despite having a 10 seconds penalty, F1 fans flocked the social media for Ricciardo’s appraisal.
Ricciardo finished the Mexican GP race in a much-improved P7 after starting the race from P11. In spite of struggling down the order, the man from Land Down Under made a brilliant comeback to finish ahead of Alpine’s Esteban Ocon.

Although it seemed that the Japanese closed the door on the Australian, stewards handed the McLaren driver the penalty. This scintillating drive brought Daniel Ricciardo the driver of the day award and fans couldn’t wait to go to social media and celebrate Ricciardo’s achievement.
