Recently, there have been rumors that drivers are thinking of leaving their teams following poor performance. Amongst them, the Ferrari duo has also been linked with different teams. It’s because Ferrari in the first half of the previous season had demonstrated to us its true potential but fell short of winning the championship. While rumors are spreading like wildfire, one driver has come and shunned the talks by showing his loyalty toward the team.

Scuderia Ferrari was anticipated to perform well this year and challenge their rival, Red Bull. But for Carlos Sainz and company, the campaign has been nothing short of a nightmare. The team sits fourth in the constructor’s standing and is enduring a tough time due to tire wear and lack of speed. Particularly for the Spaniard, the season seems tricky as the car is not set up to his liking, which resulted in him struggling for pace. This discontent has raised questions about him looking for opportunities elsewhere.

According to the Swiss publication Bliss, there had been gossip that Sainz is the frontrunner to be hired by Audi. But now the 28-year-old has proven his loyalty to his squad by assuring that the man from Madrid only considers the Prancing Horse and wishes that he wants to win a championship in the red in the near future.

As per the Race, the Spaniard said,We still have two very important years ahead ofus and I think it would be stupid to talk about that. My immediate future I only see at Ferrari. I want to succeed with this team, there is nothing that makes me happier than winning again with Ferrari, that you undertake a challenge for the title with Ferrari.”

For Ferrari, the current season has been an emotional rollercoaster. The team had high expectations and failed to provide an effective performance. However, the Spaniard hasn’t been as upset by that, it’s some other thing that has bothered the Ferrari driver.

Carlos Sainz acknowledged the painful reality that has been bothering him

Ferrari has only finished on the podium once in five races, and that was at the Azerbaijan GP thanks to Charles Leclerc. Apart from that, the Prancing Horse has only faced complications. While the previous year saw a comeback, this year the Scuderia is trailing its competitor, Red Bull. On racing days, the SF-23 hasn’t performed as well as was hoped. The distance between the two teams has widened this season.

Carlos Sainz feels hurt because of that. The Spaniard spoke about the painful reality to Race. He said, “It’s been tougher than any other year,” The expectations were different. I felt that 2022 was a bit like a return to the top for Ferrari and I feel like we all hoped to at least fight at a similar level.”

Later Sainz added, “It doesn’t hurt me so much to be fourth in the Constructors or fifth or sixth in the Drivers, it hurts me more the difference with Red Bull. If we were now fourth in Constructors, but knowing that every weekend we have the opportunity to make pole and win, it would be easier to accept.”
