In the recent light of events at the Circuit of Americas for the US Grand Prix, Brad Pitt made an appearance. As Lewis Hamilton’s new Hollywood project, which is said to star the Academy Award-winning actor as the protagonist, takes shape, Pitt has repeatedly been spotted on the tracks all weekend.

He has been visiting to meet all the F1 patrons. However, an incident pre-race caught the attention of a lot of F1 fans and they aren’t happy.

In Austin on Sunday, prior to the race, Martin Brundle, former F1 driver and F1 pundit for Sky Sports, was on his infamous grid walk. The pre-race shenanigans can even be termed a tradition now. However, this time around, as Martin went up to Brad for a quick interview, Brad swiftly walked past him, not intending to invest in any further chat. Plenty of fans took offense to this ‘disrespect’.

Martin tried to make his way to Brad Pitt and asked him about the movie in the making regarding F1. However, Pitt patted him and walked away, saying, “No, Not yet. Top secret.” 

Martin tried to continue the conversation, stating he’d seen quite a bit of him this weekend. But the American actor and film producer continued to walk away and said, “Thank you, man.

Considering the fact that Pitt is hands-on with the process of making the F1 film, he is meeting all the important people who add value to the sport. But fans could not fathom that the Hollywood man had no idea who Martin Brundle was. And to top it all, as he casually walked away without sparing a minute to talk to the pundit, the fans were furious

Twitter was taken by storm when clippings of the said incident surfaced on the internet. A lot of them believe that if Pitt was this unaware of who Brundle is, he lacked all knowledge of the sport, indicating that he clearly never followed it.
