“Step Dad Max Is My Favorite”: Max Verstappen’s Response to Step Daughter Penelope’s Adorable Request Has Filled Fans With Awe

A few weeks ago, Max Verstappen revealed that he doesn’t allow anybody to be within 10 meters of his simulator as his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet’s daughter, or his cats may come around during streaming sessions on race day and cause inconvenience and disturbance. And while we thought the Verstappen-Piquet household may have strict rules when it comes to the world champion’s racing side of things, an adorable moment between Verstappen and Piquet’s daughter Penelope has our hearts.

Moments between Max and Penelope are not rare these days. Sometimes the man is seen playing a game of jigsaw puzzle. And other times, we see the cute little family vacationing. Kelly Piquet had taken to her official Instagram account to share her Bahrain weekend experience where “step-daddy” Max Verstappen took the adorable P out for her first karting session. The family holiday had the world swooning over the lovable moments. However, this time, P has intervened in Max’s sacred territory.

In an adorable video from a stream where Max was racing on his indulgent sim setup, Penelope walks in. Initially, in the whole video, she was calling him from behind saying, “Maxie” to which Verstappen replied that he is coming. But probably the little adorable wonder got impatient for her tea party guest and came near his racing gear to call him. She came in peeking and Max, who was engrossed in his racing, said, “Whoa, P. Hello. Wait. No, don’t do this.” Then, letting a sigh out of his mouth which Penelope tried covering again, he said, “No no no.”

“Never underestimate the power of love,” says Kelly Piquet’s Instagram bio. And she has only gone on to show that love is what makes the world go round. A young Max Verstappen met 9-year senior Piquet through the latter’s brother and the magical sparks that flew have been history. Now the duo live in Monaco coupled up in their love nest with the Brazilian model’s daughter Penelope. And another cutesy moment with “daddy” Maxie has our hearts.
