Haas fired both their drivers of this season last Thursday. Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean will have to vacate their seats from the American team for next season. Guenther Steiner had been clear about his intentions for the team in 2021, and it is not shocking that he acted accordingly.
However, when asked about the future of his racers, Steiner came up with a surprising revelation. As Romain Grosjean prepares to get into Endurance championships, he is out of the question. This leaves Kevin Magnussen, and Steiner says he would love to see him in the grid next season.

Kevin Magnussen matured with age
Having raced for the American outfit for almost four years, Kevin Magnussen flourished like old wine. Even though he didn’t really score much, he developed into a better version of himself. For a driver on the grid, that is extremely important.
“He matured a lot I would say; I’m very complimentary of that towards him. The first two years I think he had still what you call it, the symptoms of being fired twice from a team.” recalled Steiner.
