Jude Bellingham struck a goal to give England a 1-0 win over Serbia on Sunday in their Euro 2024 opener. At this year’s Euro Cup, England is looking to win its first major tournament since the 1966 World Cup. Keeping the serious on-field antics aside, the team has also been having fun behind the scenes. This also included Aaron Ramsdale and Trent Alexander-Arnold playing a pop quiz and mention of the F1 world and their shining stars, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, with a dramatic plot twist!
The official channel of the England Football Team (or Soccer, as we call it) often publishes exclusive player content, inside access, etc. They published a new video and described it as the latest edition of Roommates, with best pals Aaron Ramsdale and Trent Alexander-Arnold going head-to-head.
It included what David Beckham said to Trent when he visited the base camp in Qatar and also had Ramsdale reveal the reason why he dressed up as Hagrid from Harry Potter at the Championship play-offs, etc. However, the most exciting bit for us was their F1 bit of Q&A.

In the clip circulating on X, Ramsdale is seen guessing Trent’s favorite F1 driver. While it might have been obvious that he chose Sir Lewis Hamilton due to various reasons, including their shared nationality, the answer was no. Instead, he chose his future teammate, Charles Leclerc. The reason given by Trent was, “I just like the way he drives.”
While being someone’s favorite driver is uncontrollable, Lewis might have other reasons to be happy about it.

Lewis Hamilton’s $300 million project, which also stars Brad Pitt, is set to hit the silver screen
“So I feel like Joe [Joseph Kosinski, director, ed.]; honestly, I think he’s going to blow people away,” said Lewis Hamilton, talking about his hotly anticipated F1 movie. The Brad Pitt starrer is produced in collaboration between F1 and Apple Original Film and is directed by Joseph Kosinski. And despite many delays and obstacles, the film’s release date has been finalized.
The plot of the film has Brad portraying ‘Sonny Hayes’, a retired racing driver who returns to mentor his younger teammate ‘Joshua Pearce’, the character played by British actor Damson Idris. The APXGP team in the film is the fictional one but most interestingly became the 11th team at Silverstone as part of the British Grand Prix last year, which is assumed to continue this year as well. To add to that, they will also be shooting at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
