Cristiano Ronaldo and Gerard Pique are two very well-known soccer players with more than a few things in common. They both started their professional careers at Premier League club Manchester United. Although they didn’t share the field too many times there, subsequent years of their careers were spent competing against each other in El Classicos—Ronaldo in Real Madrid and Pique in Barcelona. But they have something else in common too. Their partners (ex-partner, in Pique’s case), Georgina Rodriguez and Shakira are just as popular as them. And recently, a common link between Shakira and Rodriguez was established, and it’s got nothing to do with Pique and Ronaldo.

Five weeks ago, fashion and celebrity photographer Nicolas Geradin captured Georgina Rodriguez before she headed to the 2023 Cannes Film Festival wearing a stunning black dress with a Chopard neckpiece. The Spanish model has frequently been featured on the photographer’s page, with Geradin being known to capture many soccer stars, including Rodriguez’s partner, Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Paulo Dybala. And this weekend, Geradin headed to the British GP in Silverstone, UK.

Formula 1 races are known to be star-studded events, and one famous pop star has made frequent visits to the paddock this year. Who is it? Colombian singer Shakira. And she became the latest muse to Geradin’s camera as she cheered for her supposed flame, Lewis Hamilton. She rocked a denim top with black leather pants, sporting the same sunglasses she wore during her previous race visits.

While no one expected this crossover between Shakira and Gina Rodriguez, F1 fans sure expected her to be at the British GP after landing in London on Friday.

Shakira is having the best time attending F1 races

After living through her “darkest hour”, Shakira has come back into the spotlight. Earlier this year, she relocated to the US with her two children and attended the Miami GP. Rumors about her and Hamilton dating emerged after the pair were seen spending time together, further strengthened after the two went out again after the Spanish GP.

After Shakira arrived in London, everyone knew she would be at Silverstone to support Hamilton. And she was. Could this be further confirmation that the two are dating? The forthcoming summer break might give fans a clearer picture, as there are rumors about them going on a Caribbean vacation.
