Wrexham Owner Ryan Reynolds Left Alpine F1 Star Esteban Ocon “Stressed” Over Simple Desire

Yuki Tsunoda idolizes Fernando Alonso. Tsunoda recently revealed how he expected Alonso to not have a friendly and chatty personality. Nonetheless, Fernando turned out to be the complete opposite of what Yuki was expecting. Esteban Ocon revealed a stressed moment over a simple desire that was caused by the Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds. What was this stressful moment? 

Ryan Reynolds and Co. took over Wrexham FC in 2021 and it has been one of the biggest success stories in the sports world over the last couple of years. The “Green Lantern” star recently invested $218 Million alongside other investment firms for a 24% stake in  Alpine F1 Team. As Alpine looks to repeat the success of Wrexham with Reynolds on their side, Esteban Ocon reveals a stressful moment. 

Esteban Ocon is a huge Marvel fan and revealed that he’s been texting Ryan Reynolds ever since he came on board. However, the Frenchman revealed that he was really stressed before sending the first message to the Wrexham owner. Ocon also featured a Spiderman-themed helmet for last year’s US GP which only goes on to show you how big of a Marvel fan he is. 

According to talksport.com, Esteban Ocon said, “I could not believe it, I was so stressed before sending a text. I was in the sim yesterday and I sent him a picture of me in the simulator and I had to send him a picture and say look where I am, he said ‘I’m very much looking forward to not only meeting you but learning from you.”

Given the celebrity status of Ryan Reynolds, anyone would be a little stressed to send the first text. Nevertheless, turns out the Marvel Hero presented Esteban Ocon with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. What was this opportunity?

Further in the interview, once Reynolds realized how big of a Marvel fan Ocon is, the “Deadpool” actor invited the Frenchman over to the set of Deadpool in London. However, Pierre Gasly probably hasn’t been invited yet despite the fact that he’s also a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds’ work. Gasly suggested that he is super excited to meet the Hollywood star at some point during the season.

According to Talksport.com, Esteban Ocon talking about being invited to the Deadpool set said “He [Ryan Reynolds] told me I was invited on the set in London for the ‘Deadpool’ movie, so I’m definitely going to be going. He also said that he was very much looking forward to learn from our world, see how things work, and just to have a racing chat.”
