“Why Not Messi”: Esteban Ocon Stumps Fans With a “Weird Crossover” at PSG’s Fortress

Esteban Ocon is an absolute “random” guy. That’s what fans are saying after his recent appearance at the PSG game against Toulouse. Ocon was in attendance for the Ligue 1 game on February 4th. Apparently, the French driver watching the Paris-Saint Germain match shocked some fans. It was out of the blue for many soccer and F1 fans. Few may have known that the Alpine driver is a PSG fan. Regardless, fans are complaining on the Alpine star’s Twitter after he missed out on a photo with the GOAT Lionel Messi.

Ocon tweeted several pictures of him at the PSG fortress. Amongst these pictures, he shared one with Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi. Now in the game against Toulouse, both Messi and Hakimi scored a goal each. PSG won the game courtesy of their goals 2 – 1.

Although, Estie Bestie only posted his picture with Hakimi. Some fans are complaining that Esteban missed out on clicking a picture with the Soccer GOAT Messi. Ocon may not forget to put a picture with the World Cup winner if he has clicked one.

Nonetheless, fans have reacted to the Frenchman watching the PSG game, with many still stumped. Some have cited how “weird” and “random” it felt to see Ocon attending to see Messi and Hakimi score goals.

Fans React to Esteban Ocon at the PSG Game

Twitter fans have expressed their confusion while reacting to Esteban Ocon posting his pictures from yesterday’s game. While some liked to see Ocon and Hakimi together, some of them cited they wanted to see Esteban with Messi.

Perhaps, Esteban reads the comments and posts something, as he did recently, to reply wittingly to a fan to break the internet. Hopefully, soccer fans may get their wish if the Frenchman has clicked a picture with their GOAT.

Being a Frenchman, he would naturally be following some of the French soccer clubs. So, it feels weird to see fans question how Esteban attended the PSG game.

Considering the low popularity of the Ocon relative to other drivers, his public appearances can feel out of place. Still, the man is an F1 Grand Prix winner and certainly deserves more of the spotlight.
