The dating rumors have picked up quite a lot lately. Earlier it was Fernando Alonso and Taylor Swift and now it is Lewis Hamilton and Shakira. The Colombian popstar had an ugly divorce recently with soccer star Gerard Pique and has sparked some dating rumors ever since. Recently, the Waka-Waka girl was spotted with Top Gun star, Tom Cruise attending the Miami GP. Later, she went on a dinner date with F1 sensation, Lewis Hamilton. The two also spent time together on a cruise ship which intensified rumors even more. Fans have now come in her support for apparently choosing Hamilton while also heavily trolling Pique.

The Miami GP, much like last year’s inaugural edition, turned out to be a starry affair. Shakira, who was in attendance, was spotted with Tom Cruise, who got some special privileges courtesy of Hamilton’s team Mercedes. Cruise, who has previously driven a Red Bull F1 car, tried his hand out at a pit stop in one of Mercedes’ pit boxes. Needless to say, the action star nailed it and also earned the pit crew’s respect.

Gerard Pique comes under heavy trolling as a peculiar comparison with Lewis Hamilton comes to light

Hamilton may not have landed a podium finish at the Miami GP but looks like he caught certain special someone’s attention. Shakira, who moved to Miami earlier this year following her divorce from Pique, spent time with Lewis on a cruise ship which was coincidentally docked right outside her $15 million mansion.

Her fans are certainly loving the apparent fling and comparing the F1 star with Shakira’s ex in every way that they can. The most recent one that surfaced online is that of the cars the two sporting sensations drive. While some had a good laugh about it, others turned it into an opportunity to take a dig at the former Barcelona Center-Back.

Earlier last month, a Brazilian court found former F1 champion Nelson Piquet guilty of using racist language against Hamilton and consequently fined him. Some fans took this opportunity to take a dig at Nelson and Gerard.

Now we do not know whether some fan here referred to Lewis and Gerard or their rides, or maybe both, but they certainly had a hilarious take.
