As the match progressed, Russell came onto his Instagram to declare that he was team Messi. But as the evening went on, France mounted a comeback, which almost materialized. But when all of this was happening, one man was the most anxious of them all.

Russell took to Twitter after the match and all he could say was, “Crickey what a World Cup Final!! Well done to both sides, well done to Argentina, well done to Messi!!”
