The worlds of Formula 1 and Soccer have often collided in the past. However, it did so without either of the two having any significant bearing on the other. But in 2023, we’re witnessing a saga where the sport of F1 may play a huge role in one of the biggest transfer shake-ups in the history of the beautiful game. In the midst of it all stands Lewis Hamilton and PSG’s star man, Neymar Jr.

The 31-year-old Brazilian soccer sensation was spotted last week at the Monaco GP. Pretty normal, right? But behind the scenes, he did so in blatant disregard of his club. Tensions have been rising between Neymar and PSG recently, and this was just another epic blowout. But you’d expect Formula 1 to bow out of this fiasco post-Monaco, right?

F1 travels this weekend to Spain for the Spanish Grand Prix. Historically, it hasn’t been a real attractor for celebrities and other A-listers. Neymar, though, was pretty happy to make back-to-back appearances at an F1 weekend!

As pictures trickled in from the Spanish GP paddock, Neymar and Lewis Hamilton were spotted together once again! After PSG stating their dissatisfaction at Neymar attending the Monaco GP per  L’Equipe, his appearance at the Spanish GP will only add more fuel to the already raging fire in his relationship with the French club.

To make things worse for the club, their biggest signing to date, Lionel Messi is on the verge of exiting the club this summer. And Neymar doesn’t feel too bothered by that as he soaks in the sunshine in Barcelona.

Neymar makes good on missed Monaco GP opportunity

Hamilton and Neymar Jr have been close acquaintances for quite some time now. Be that as it may, during the Monaco GP, the 7x champion inadvertently gave the PSG talisman the cold shoulder on live TV.

It would appear as though that the duo may have finally caught up with each other! The pictures revealed show the two in happy spirits as Hamilton prepares to embark on a mission to rebuild his championship bid with the latest upgrade package quoted as ideal to showcase progress for the track in Barcelona.
