Rewind to 2020. The world was on lockdown, but Formula 1 drivers continued giving us a daily dose of entertainment. As Twitch became their medium for interaction, it paved the way for Lando Norris and his shenanigans. This time, it was they were for a good cause. The Brit raised $12,000 to help combat COVID-19 through his Twitch stream. How did he convince people to donate? With a promise to shave his head if they crossed the $10,000 mark. When it happened, Norris stuck to his word, which paved the way for Baldo Norris!

This proved two things: Norris supports good causes, and he requires a professional to tend to his curls. After three years of complaining about his hair, it looked like he finally found the person for the job.

Wondering who was temporarily in charge of Norris’ curls? Ahmed Alsanawi, more popularly known as A-Star. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because it is. A-Star is one of the most renowned names in the soccer world. No, not for his soccer skills, but for his expertise with scissors in his hands. And his list of A-lister clients is endless.

From Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba to Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish, they’re all devoted to his skills. Oh, and who could forget the soccer world’s very own Barbie Erling Haaland? Impressed by A-Star’s expertise, Lando Norris headed his way during the summer break. To document his step into the F1 world, A-Star posted a video of Norris’ hair transformation on Instagram, captioning it, “Racing towards my destiny. @landonorris 🏎” As shocking as it sounds, it looks like Norris is searching for yet another hairdresser now.

F1 is headed to Singapore this weekend to race at the driver-favorite Marina Bay Circuit. So, as Norris went from Europe to Asia, he took to Instagram to ask for help in the department. In his Instagram story, he wrote, “Hairdressers in Singapore? Any recommendations pls 🇸🇬” If you’re in Singapore and believe your hairdresser is the best, Norris awaits your response. Or better yet, if you’re the best hairdresser in Singapore, this is your time to shine! Honestly, though, if Norris needs haircare tips, he could just reach out to one of his best friends in F1.

Back in 2019, Norris and Carlos Sainz were teammates at McLaren. With how friendly they got, Norris once trusted the Spaniard enough to cut his hair. Considering how everyone thinks Sainz’s hair is one of his best assets, who could’ve blamed Norris? While nothing went terribly, and Sainz cut only a couple of locks, that ordeal didn’t happen again. What has been repeated several times is: What is Sainz’s haircare routine?

The Spaniard finally opened up about how he tends to his hair. In a video for P1 With Matt & Tommy, Sainz answered fans’ burning questions. Unsurprisingly, most of them were curious about Sainz’s hair routine. He said, “I don’t do anything in particular. I shampoo it once a day. That’s it. And if I shower two or three times a day, I only shampoo it once. Never conditioner. Just shampoo. Once.”
