Remember how Lewis Hamilton’s current TP and CEO jumped at the opportunity to join Mercedes and acquire a stake in it? Well, the growth of Mercedes meant the growth of Toto Wolff, who is now a billionaire. A Real Madrid star seems to have gotten the idea for Toto Wolff as he rushed to invest in Lewis Hamilton’s uplifting venture as Leonardo DiCaprio’s investment triggers a $30 Million growth. Who is the football star?
Lewis Hamilton started the Neat Burger venture to make plant-based food more accessible to everyone. The response has been great and the company recently opened an outlet in New York City with plans to expand into the US market in the near future. Currently, Near Burger has 8 outlets in London and 1 in the US. Believing in what Lewis Hamilton was doing with Neat Burger, Leonardo DiCaprio officially became an investor in the company last year.
Neat Burger’s valuation was $70 Million last year. After a successful funding round, the valuation has now reached $100 million dollars. That’s a $30 million increase in valuation since DiCaprio joined the company. Financial Times suggests that the firm’s valuation also increased by 40% compared to its value 2 years ago. The surprising thing was that Leonardo DiCaprio did not participate in the Series B round of investment. We guess Leonardo Di Caprio was too busy watching the Lakers game with Lewis Hamilton.

As Neat Burger shows a positive trajectory in terms of returns for the investment made, Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois was amongst the new investors. A total of $18 million dollars were raised by these new investors, which included Courtois. Financial Times advises that Neat Burger plans to use the funding to open another site in the US and up to 3 more in London by 2025.
If the valuation of the firm keeps increasing like this, one can believe that Lewis Hamilton will touch the Billionaire mark just like his Mercedes TP Toto Wolff. However, the company might not be the only way to increase the net worth as rumors of Ferrari preparing a $49,000,000 contract have made their way to the paddock. Will Lewis Hamilton accept this offer?

Lewis Hamilton is concerned about winning his 8th World Title and not about making it to a net worth of a Billion dollars. Hamilton suggested that until and unless people hear from him about a Ferrari contract, till then it’s just a rumor and nothing more. Hamilton suggested that Mercedes is working hard with Hamilton’s agent, as the deal is almost at the finishing line.
According to Formula1.com, during the Monaco GP Thursday press conference, Lewis Hamilton said, “Yeah, I think naturally when you’re in contract negotiations, there’s always going to be speculation. And I think ultimately that’s… unless you hear from me, then that’s all it is.” He later added, “But I think, as I said, my team’s working closely behind the scenes with Toto, we’re almost at the end of having a contract ready.”
