Lewis Hamilton won a title this year. Sounds strange, right? Yes, the seven times world champion’s team X44 has won the second season of the Extreme E Championship. Post the victory, the Briton received a very special message from his ex-teammate, Nico Rosberg, who he defeated in 2014 and 2015 to get his 2nd and 3rd F1 titles.

Extreme E is a unique form of auto racing. It is an all-electric rally that also raises awareness about climate change. Nico Rosberg-owned team Rosberg X Racing won its inaugural season. And now, Lewis’ team, Team X44, has won the second season.
