One thing Lewis Hamilton cannot get enough of is the thrill and adrenaline. Outside of F1 racing, he often takes part in adventurous activities to keep his blood flowing. Among those activities are surfing and skydiving. But one we were unaware of, and legend of the snow Jamie Lynn revealed, is his love for snowboarding. Jamie talked about how a simple trick he pulled off in Ken Block and Lewis’ presence intrigued the F1 sensation so much that he refused to leave until he mastered it.
Lewis has always been a huge fan of adventurous and dangerous activities. One would think the Briton must get his regular dose of adrenaline from racing in F1, but no. There is no such thing as too much adrenaline for the Mercedes ace. The search for it once took him to the legendary Baldface where Jamie Lynn left him mesmerized.

In the Bomb Hole’s episode 141, Lynn recalled, “Epic snow. Baldface is known for it but it really produced this trip and we had probably three feet of really beautiful consistency powder, bluebird skies. You could send it off everything up there. All the trainers, line of site, there’s really no major pitfalls that guides do an excellent job of putting on train that you could manage but then maximize with your riding ability. Tons of kickers, drops, hips, trees, it’s got it all.”
“But that day with Lewis and Ken, there was a stump jump in front of me. It was perfect, like, fly ramp kicker into a beautiful open field of powder dropped in and just did this big wildcat backflip. I don’t know if it was laid out or if I grabbed or what but Lewis saw that and was like, ‘holy sh*t, I need to figure that out, I need to learn backflips’.”
Jamie then told how everyone went in for snacks and lunch while Lewis stayed out practicing. When he came out, he saw the 7x F1 champion nail a perfect backflip.

Before George Russell, Lewis shared a cordial relationship with his then-teammate Valtteri Bottas. However, Valtteri was kind of an “old soul”, not really interested in participating in daredevil activities with his partner. That changed with George’s arrival.
In an interview with 10 Sports last year, he recalled, “George has been great. He’s got a real vibrance around him. He’s a very positive, constructive, hard worker. We were surfing together just recently. He came surfing with us the other day, he never surfed. So, I’ve got him in the pool and I think he’s got the bug now.”
