Daniel Ricciardo is a huge UFC fan. Recently, the McLaren driver interviewed with the UFC. He was asked various questions by British television personality Big Zuu. The presenter proceeded to fire 8 questions at the Aussie.

Ricciardo spills all, from a boxing match with Hamilton to teammate Lando Norris’s fortunes in the octagon.
Lewis, Lando and Ricciardo go to the octagon?
Recently Daniel Ricciardo did a tell-all with the UFC where he went on to answer 8 questions. One very interesting question by Big Zuu was his previous call out to Lewis Hamilton for a charity boxing match. He then further posed the question, “you vs Lewis in the Octagon what are we saying? who wins?” To which the Aussie replied, “I’d definitely back myself”. He also spoke about his prior experiences with going boxing a few times as a kid.
He also has some Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background he said, “I maybe did a dozen BJJ lessons around 8 years ago now.” He went on to add, “I think I have watched enough MMA over the time to to have half an idea of what to do”
Then Big Zuu asked him about his McLaren teammate, Lando Norris chances in the ring to which he replied “He would not fare well in the octagon”. He predicted that Lando has “no chance” in the octagon.
Finally, the Aussie was asked what he would like his fighter nickname to be? To which he pondered for a moment before choosing the “Smiling Assassin”. He said, “I’ll probably go with the Smiling Assassin instead of the honey badger”.

The 2022 season sees Daniel Ricciardo enter his 2nd season as a McLaren driver alongside teammate Lando Norris. Although their hopes were high going into the season, the team’s performance has so far been underwhelming. However, the last round saw them make somewhat of a recovery to move up the pecking order.
So far, in the battle between the 2 drivers, Lando Norris is ahead of Ricciardo, however, it is due to some major bad luck for the Aussie. Lando Norris Currently sits 8th in the driver’s standings, 3 places ahead of his teammate. The last race in Australia saw a strong performance from Lando and Daniel as they finished 5th and 6th, respectively.
