Formula 1 is to welcome Las Vegas as the newest race venue next year. The pinnacle of motorsport will see Sin City host its first F1 race since 1982. As the city gears up for the grand welcome next year, MGM leads the way with its extravagant ideas.

The MGM Resorts International group is on the verge of bringing a whole new experience for the spectators. As the MGM Grand officials took hold of the land near the F1 circuit, they are planning to release entertainment race packages worth around $100,000.

According to ‘The F1 Guy’, Vincenzo Landino, “MGM Resorts says that F1 Vegas packages will be inclusive of a $2,800 charge for a single three-day grandstand ticket. Hotel stay packages — with F1 ticket — are starting around $8,000.”

In just over a year, F1 fans from around the globe will see how Las Vegas throws a party,” stated Sin City Kingpin Steve Zanella, the MGM Resorts’ Chief Commercial Officer. Even though the tickets are already on sale for $500 for a standing section, it is believed the prices might go higher than that.

In addition to the Bellagio Grandstands, which will set new standards for event viewing, we will create a round-the-clock celebration worthy of this international spectacular,” Zanella further conveyed.

The 2023 Las Vegas race could be the most expensive F1 race

Being one of the richest cities in the entire United States, Las Vegas is known for its extravagance. As we have an F1 race there next season, the prices for that are expected to be high. However, nobody was sure that the Vegas race could be the costliest in history.

Given the extraordinary rise in the prices of tickets, hotels, and restaurants for next year’s race, the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix could well be the most expensive race in Formula 1 history.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali shared, “There will be possibilities for people who want to pay less, to spend less. As always in life, it is the market pulling the price, and then on our side is the responsibility to bring a great event.”
