Confusion looms inside the Ferrari camp, and the Tifosi are not happy about it. Yet again, Carlos Sainz’s statement comes in contradiction to his boss, Frederic Vasseur, who claimed that all is well inside the team and they’ll be soon catching up with Red Bull. The team further promises major upgrades from Imola onward, but the Spanish driver has pinned the team’s woes on the concept of the SF-23.

The contradictory views coming inside from Ferrari are what have gotten fans enraged. Moreover, Sainz’s isolated comments, in the absence of Charles Leclerc, make the Spaniard sound full of excuses for the lack of his performances. The Spaniard said, “The fact that Red Bull has such a big lead, it’s confirmed that we have a concept problem. RB succeeded and we didn’t. We got a little carried away by last year’s car, which was fast on the single lap.”

The accusation by fans isn’t baseless, as Charles Leclerc has been relatively quiet and has outperformed Sainz in both the qualification rounds so far. Carlos Sainz has been asked to step up by the fans and stop making excuses. It almost seems like the Tifosi have had enough of the team’s shenanigans and will not be tolerating them further. The drivers, too, won’t be spared if the need arises. However, the confusion that remains among the fans is over who is speaking the truth and who is lying about the progress.

Carlos Sainz’s comments make fans furious

Carlos Sainz has hardly ever been on the wrong side of the fans. They have been generous enough and want him to step up after a year of underwhelming performances in a dominant F1-75 last year, where he claimed he could’ve won the championship. Nevertheless, it is his performances this year that fans want him to improve on by focusing more on racing and less on complaining.
