The most important thing an athlete can learn is hard work. Lewis Hamilton is no different and believes that a proper work ethic can achieve great things – not just in F1, but in life as well.
Speaking to students at the Mercedes factory in Brackley, the seven-time world champion gave out a life lesson on hard work and self-belief. He stated that it’s not about failing, but about getting up and trying again.

The Knight is always inspiring people to do better, be it on Instagram or in real life. Hence, when he had the chance to interact with students, Hamilton didn’t hesitate to share a motivating message.
Hamilton said, “Don’t give up. You know like the easiest thing for us all to do in anything, whether it’s like your diet or it’s working out or whether it’s your studying or at your work, the easiest thing is to give up, and that should never ever be an option.”

“And you can never go back. So it’s how you, like Toto, is saying, it’s analyzing what could you do better. Can you prepare better? Could you sacrifice something to be better prepared? Could you have set that better than before? Whatever it may be.”
“And applying to moving forward. Again it’s not how you fall, it’s how you get back up. That’s the theory that I have always applied to my failures,” Hamilton concluded.

Hamilton’s father believes with hard work, Lewis can achieve another title
The fight for the championship between Max Verstappen and Hamilton has never been this intense. However, the seven-time world champion’s dad, Anthony Hamilton believes his son can claim his eighth title this season if he puts in the work.
Speaking to The Sun, he said, “I’m always optimistic, it’s just about putting in the hard work. Work hard and hopefully the rewards will come.”

Hamilton’s mentality surely lines up with his father’s, and there’s no doubt he will do everything in his power to win the title this year.
