As per CNA Luxury, talking about this, the seven-time world champion conveyed, “What a lot of people don’t actually know is that I re-designed the steering wheel when I was at McLaren. And when I came to Mercedes, I did the same thing, and the other teams have all copied the wheel.”

After narrowly missing out on the championship last year at Abu Dhabi, Lewis Hamilton expected to make a comeback and break Michael Schumacher’s record of seven F1 world titles in 2022.

However, things didn’t turn out the way he expected, as the Silver Arrows were the third-best team in the sport behind Red Bull and Ferrari. Without a win since Saudi Arabia last year, the 37-year-old is currently in P6 in the driver’s championship with 180 points.
