Formula One finally seems to have managed to break the barrier that was keeping them from taking over the market in the United States, as the United States Grand Prix of 2021 turned out to be an absolute festival in itself. The race took place at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas, and it saw quite a few celebrities turn up too. But all one could talk about at the end of the race was the grand entry of a very special guest–the Los Angeles Lakers Legend Shaquille O’Neal for the prize distribution ceremony for the US Grand Prix. And they didn’t even leave his height difference with Lewis Hamilton out of the discussion!

From crazy fans in the grandstands emulating Daniel Ricciardo and doing shoeys, to a flame-throwing octopus car better known as ‘el pulpo mecanico’ the United States Grand Prix was one of the craziest Grand Prix in recent history. The cherry on the top, however, was four-times NBA Champion Shaquille O‘Neal turning up at the end of the Grand Prix to present the winners’ trophy to Max Verstappen.

Shaquille made quite a grand entrance, as fans suddenly spotted an epic longhorn car, a huge convertible with an insanely large bull horn fitted in the front, rolling up to the Parc Ferme. In the car, sitting was the seven-foot-one-inch tall NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, holding the winner’s trophy. He went on to the podium and presented the trophy to Max Verstappen.

The fans on Twitter had a field time as Shaquille was standing beside the drivers, and the size difference between the Basketball player, standing at 7 feet 1 inch, and Lewis Hamilton, standing at around 5 feet 7 inches was almost comical. Even after standing on the elevated 2 place podium, Lewis barely managed to reach the height of Shaquille.
