Ferrari launched their car, the SF21 on March 10 in a tasteful digital presentation. Normally the livery reveal comes as a pleasant surprise for the team’s fans. But their drivers, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were rather surprised by the livery on display.

The car was very interesting in the approach which was taken concerning livery design. Their title sponsor Mission Winnow was featured on the rear wing per usual in black stenciling. But, the color of the MW logo on the engine cover was a very green look.

In a video posted on Ferrari’s social media, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were asked to give their thoughts on the new car. Leclerc gave his thoughts on the car saying, “I love it, I love it. I like the car, I like the color. The color looks a little more dark compared to last season.”

He also spoke about the different shade of red near the back of the car. Sainz mentioned the hint of green on the car in the form of the MW.

He said, “We didn’t expect the green. We didn’t see it one week ago.” Leclerc agreed and said, ” It was a last-minute change. But I have to say I’m getting used to it, seeing it in the car.”
