Sergio Perez has joked about Cyril Abiteboul and bringing him back to F1. In a podcast, the Mexican driver was curious to know if Abiteboul had gotten his tattoo, as he had placed a bet with Daniel Ricciardo.
However, as Renault was becoming Alpine for the 2021 season, Abiteboul parted ways with the French team. His departure rose the question if he would ever get the tattoo or not.
Perez joked about getting Abiteboul back on the grid and also joked about starting another bet with Red Bull boss, Christian Horner.

Perez was rumored to be out of a seat for the 2021 season, as Vettel was coming in to replace him for the next season. However, after his impressive performances caught their attention, Red Bull signed him up for the upcoming championship.

He said, “The way you drive each of the cars is very different, so you have to adapt to a different car, to a different style. But all in all, I also have to say that this car has very good potential in it. I think once I get on top of the car, then we should be looking good.”
